31 Days of Summer Horror – Day 1: Cargo

So my Parabatai and I have been in a Halloween mood lately and decided to do a 31 Days of Summer Horror movie challenge in the month of July. Every day we will watch a horror movie and then blog about it. I decided to go with horror movies I have not seen yet. I wrote them all down on pieces of paper, folded them up and put them in a jar. I pick from it every day to see what I’m watching. Today’s pick ended up being a movie, Sarah (my Parabatai), recommend….

“Stranded in rural Australia in the aftermath of a violent pandemic, an infected father desperately searches for a new home for his infant child and a means to protect her from his own changing nature.”

Soooo I adore Martin Freeman so I was excited to see this one. It left me feeling…meh 😑 It was not as horror as I would have liked. I also needed more. What was the pandemic? What made people turn into zombies? I’m the type of person that needs answers. I have trouble reading short stories because it usually leaves me with more questions then when I started. Oh well. Glad I watched it. Ending was bittersweet 😢
