Sister Sister by Sue Fortin review

“Alice: Beautiful, kind, manipulative, liar.

Clare: Intelligent, loyal, paranoid, jealous.

Clare thinks Alice is a manipulative liar who is trying to steal her life.

Alice thinks Claire is jealous of her long-lost return and place in their family.

One of them is telling the truth. The other is a maniac. Two sisters. One truth.”

Let’s talk…this book was predictable (to a point), unoriginal and reminded me of a made for tv Lifetime movie….but OMG I LOVED it! I’ve been in such a slump this month and this is what I needed. 368 pages and I read it in less than 8 hours! I’m such a sucker for Lifetime/Hallmark movies. They are so cheesy but it’s such a guilty pleasure.

I actually found myself getting just as mad and worked up as Claire was. Getting so mad I wanted to punch Luke sometimes. I did predict one of the plot twists but I didn’t catch on to the other. So I did have a bit of a surprise at one point.

I probably would have given this a 2 or 3 star rating because it’s not original at all but because it reminded me so much of Lifetime movies and I had such a fun ride with it I gave it 4 stars!

I definitely want to check out her other book now. Glad I picked this up. I almost didn’t!
