So I buddy read Jaws by Peter Benchly with my friend Sophia. Then I decided to re-watch the movie and compare. I blogged about it, it can be found here Jaws by Peter Benchley review + Book vs Movie (spoilers) . It was so fun that I decided to keep going with this. For now I am only doing older movies from my childhood that I adore still. Most I didn’t even know were books also. Now some books were written the same year the movie came out but I still count them. Below I’m going to list the movies I love that are from my childhood and if I have the book or still need to find a copy. I also will add a list of other movies I adore that I am not sure if they have a book or not. If you know then comment below and let me know so I can search for it.

Thats all I have for now. Just wanted a starter list. I probably won’t start this until Decemeber/January time frame. I’m still collecting some books and movies. I am very excited about this though! I am one of the few people that is pretty good about separating a book from its movie and enojoy both. Sometimes I enojy the book more or a movie more. So this won’t be like basing one or the other type thing. I just like to read, watch, review and compare. Now if the book or movie is HORRIBLE I will let you know! Also let me know in the comments any of your favorite movies/books from your childhood (1990s or older please) that didn’t make it on to my list (Like i said before this isn’t a complete list) and I’ll add them!
