A to Z Stephen King Challenge

This was so much fun to do! ab_reads and Jobis89 hosted this amazing Instagram challenge for June! From June 1-26 you did a letter a day. You could do it however you wanted. A word, the title of a novel/short story, name of a character. I decided to post all of my photos in this blog! Guess it could become a book tag now! Just make sure if you want to do it to give the creators some love!

A is for Apt Pupil

B is for Bag of Bones

C is for Câine – which means dog in Romanian. Cujo is a dog from my favorite fictional town of Castle Rock.

D is for Dolores Claiborne – this book was so much fun and Kathy Bates plays an amazing Dolores in the movie!

E is for End of Watch – this was a fantastic trilogy! Just shows that King can write just about any genre of book 💞

F is for Firestarter – the book I burned was not readable. It had missing/ripped pages and water damage. I figured it was better to put it to use before throwing it out.

G is for Gerald’s Game – I’m excited to see how this turned into a film 🙊

H is for Happy Place – Books are my happy place and on the day I took this picture and posted it on IG I needed to escape to my happy place. 😞😕

I is for Insomnia – I love the shirt King picked for his author photo 😂

J is for Just After Sunset

K is for Kingdom Hospital – most people forget about this

L is for The Langoliers– a short story in the book Four Past Midnight. Those are real United States Air Force pilot headset. They are my husbands ✈️

M is for Misery – the movie is what got me started on my King obsession! It was my first introduction to him as a young teen. Now it’s just grown into something unhealthy 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

N is for Needful Things – one of my top 5 favorite books every! And my favorite of the Castle Rock books!

O is for One for the Road – a short story from the book Night Shift

P is for Pet Semetary – my daughter insisted that her kitty be a part of this

Q is for Quitters, Inc. – a short story from the book Night Shift

R is for Revival – I love how when the light hit the book it made a rainbow 🌈

S is for The Shining – “Wendy? Darling? Light, of my life. I’m not gonna hurt ya. I’m just going to bash your brains in.”

T is for Thinner – another book is my top 5 favorites. The movie is just as amazing too!

U is for Uncle Otto’s Truck – a short story from the book Skeleton Crew

V is for Verklempt – which means overcome with emotion. Something Stephen King is amazing at. He can make you feel every kind of emotion out there.

W is for The Women in the Room – a short story from the book Night Shift

X is for Xenomorphic – which means having a form not its own. Something Pennywise is a natural at.

Y is for You Know They Got a Hell of a Band – a short story from the book Nightmares and Dreamscapes

Z is for Zealous – which means marked by fervent partisanship for a person, a cause, or an ideal. For example a religious zealot like Mrs. Carmody in The Mist. A short story in the book Skeleton Crew.

This challenge was so much fun!!!!
