Now for my 2017 reading goals and most anticipated reads of 2017!

Well for 2016 I set a Goodreads goal of 40 and ended up with 77 books read! For 2017 I’m only going to bump it up to 50. I’ll be going back to work so I won’t have nearly as much time to read as I did in 2016.

There are some books I wanted to get read in 2016 that didn’t make it. I want to continue on with the Throne of Glass series. I have Queen of Shadows & Empire of Storms to finish up before book 6 is released. I want get to A Court of Thorns and Roses & A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. If I like those then I will continue with the 3 installment that comes out in 2017. I also want to read The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. Besides those specific ones I just want to read more adult books, tackle some more Stephen King and read some more Joe Hill and Ania Ahlborn (who has become my new favorite horror author).

2017 anticipated released:

Release date: February 7, 2016. Sequel to Starfall. There are space pirates 😳 go read it!! 😁
Release date: February 21, 2017. Third and last book in the Darker Shade of Magic Trilogy. I still need to read A Gathering of Shadows. It’s on my Jan/Feb want to read. I adored A Darker Shade of Magic. V.E. (Victoria) Schwab is such an amazing author. She climbed her way to my list of favorite authors!
Release date: May 23, 2017. Second book in the Dark Artifices series.
Release date: June 13, 2017. Second book in the This Savage Song series. This book is going to kill me. I’m not sure how I’m going to wait half a year for it! 😭😭😭 This Savage Song was the best thing I’ve read in years! If you have not read it yet you need to!!
