Harry Potter and the Cursed Child review

Well…it only took me 9 hours to read this. Would have been shorter but I had to do laundry, go to the store and take care of kids. I was so scared to start this. With it not being JK Rowlings writing I was afraid I would be let down. I wasn’t sure I could handle that. It did NOT let me down. Reading a screen play was easier than I imagined it would be. Well it does lack description of scenes, it’s understandable since it’s not a novel, I was still able to picture it all in my head. It was fabulous!

Oh poor Albus. Sometimes I wanted to smack that little boy but I didn’t. He was having to deal with a lot and growing up as The Boy Who Lived’s son. Now Draco’s son, Scorpius Malfoy! Now I wasn’t expecting to love him as much as I did. He was fantastic! His relationship with Albus leveled it all out!

It was great seeing characters return from the original series. I’m in such a high still!

5/5 🌟 for sure!!! Although I still feel like that’s not enough stars! I got my passport ready. Now I just need a plane ticket and I’m ready to head to London! I need to see the play now
