My Sister Rosa by Justine Larbalestier review

Che Taylor’s little sister Rosa is smart, talented, pretty – and a psychopath. She hasn’t hurt anyone yet, but Che’s certain it’s just a matter of time.

When their parents move them overseas again, this time to New York City, Che writes his usual new-city list:

  • He wants to spar, not just train in the boxing gym.
  • He wants a girlfriend.
  • He wants to go home to Sydney and his three best friends.
  • He wants to keep Rosa under control.

But Che knows his first duty is to his sister, who is playing increasingly complex and disturbing games. Can he protect Rosa from the world – and the world from Rosa?

Holy crap on a cracker! 😱 I’m so glad I was able to find this book on Book Depository! It does not get released in the USA until November 2016 but has already been released in Australia! This book was amazing. It was my first time reading a book from this author. I will be getting her other two books.

Rosa! Wow! Not much to say but psycho! Her mind is so dark and twisted. If you love psychology and thrillers than this is the book for you. I love that they added a bit of a love story in there to break up all the psychological stuff. Honesty I didn’t see that turn towards the end of the book. I couldn’t put this down. I was up until 1am so I could finish. The story is good, the characters are great. I could have asked for less swear words (I mean yes I use bad words from time to time but my gosh this teenager has one dirty mouth!) but overall this was fantastic!! Even has a same-sex relationship or two…..

GO READ THIS BOOK!! 😂😂

5/5 🌟
